Facilities at the Curragh

“ The gallops are open 7 days a week 365 days a year ”

  • 70 Miles of Grass Gallops
  • Approx 12 Miles of peat Gallops
  • 8 All Weather Tracks (2 sand & fibre, 1 polytrack, 5 woodchip)
  • New 2 furlong schooling strip
  • All maintained 365 days a year
  • A skilled and dedicated team of approximately 15 people maintains the gallops
  • Extensive Grass schooling facilties over Fences and Hurdles

  • The Gallops are maintained to a very high standard in a unique venue
  • Centrally Located at Exit 12 off the M7 approximately 45 mins from Dublin Airport
  • The Heart of the Thoroughbred County and the Epicenter of of Horseracing resources
  • The annual cost is very reasonable from only approx €3 a day
  • A daily gallop and schooling rate is also available for Non Curragh Based Trainers.
